Rowed 7km, then went for a walk. Sat out in the dark for a bit – not cold today – some constellations, Jupiter. And then there is you – looking into the distance just stars and the very beautiful you. I hear you talking – you make me laugh – exhorting “No one told me about this refresh thing – where are my messages? What is this?”; the very rapid decision making – option 1 – “we are NOT doing that!”. I hear your sad voice, I hear your tearful voice, I hear your happy voice, I hear your loving voice – I hear all of you – and you make me whole. You make me realise that telling someone that you love them is the second best feeling in the world – second only to the very best feeling which is the love that I see in your smile – like the day when I saw you just before we went to eat with the visitors from Scandinavia. No one has ever smiled at me like that – and that smile is burnt into my soul for ever more – I will never ever forget that….
