You are everything – “us” is everything. And as far as I can see you nurture “us” every day, in every way, in everything that you do. It is not for me to tell you what you can and can’t do, or should or shouldn’t do. But I do need to tell you what I see.

I see the most kind and beautiful woman, an astonishingly attractive woman, who is loving, tender, gentle and mesmerising. I see someone who always makes the utmost effort to care for me – in her smile, in her voice, in the things she does for me, in coming to see me, in calling me, in getting herself into trouble because of me.

I see someone who is physically close with me and who makes me feel the most fantastic things, like never before, and who lets me love her in the most intimate way. I see someone who thinks far more about me than she does about herself, who is happy whenever she is with me, and who becomes sad when we part, and someone who misses me on the weekends.

And then I see someone who sent me that note at New Year telling me how she felt about me – a note which when I read it for the first time led to a true “Oh my God” moment – the most exquisitely crafted text I have ever seen imbued with all of her love for me.

So you do nurture “us” in every way in everything that you do. You must do whatever you feel is right – but please don’t ever think that you do not do enough already. “Us” is a very wonderful thing and you very much make it so. I am very lucky indeed to have you.
